And they wonder why they have no credibility.

I'm sure ISIS is telling it's followers about how easy it is to get a car or truck and plow it through crowds of people in countries with gun bans. I'm sure they are also telling their followers how easy it is to obtain guns from the black market in those same countries. So what is your point?

By the way the article states that someone can purchase a gun online with no background check which is totally false. If you purchase a gun online it MUST be shipped to an FFL holder who does a background check on you before you get the gun. Some people need to get their facts straight.

More fake news. I can buy a at 15 online and it just shows up at the door

I once bought a gun with a Babies R Us gift card at a gun show.

Then another time at a gun show I put a quarter in a gumball machine and an AR-15 came out. True story.

Clearly this is proof gun shows are dangerous and if you don't believe my overwhelming evidence you're probably a gun hugging Putin slappy. #Resist #BigBoysDontNeedGunsRightMommy

No finer example than all the erratic driving on this forum. ;)

Just MDL stupidly.  Assault looking scary war movie guns account for less than 1%  if gun crime, but yet what do liberals want to ban?

Drunk drivers still kill over 10,000 people a year in the US. Even when the figure was over 25,000, there was no outcry to ban cars.

But we do strive and succeed  to make cars safer every year.  Also I do not see any call of any ban in this thread.

That's the premise of gun control, and especially those behind the infamous Brady bill. You may not call it that but that doesn't make disappear all the efforts of sweeping bans SCOTUS has undone.

Cars are safer today, but there have been decades of education on drunk driving since the peak in the early 80's. Drivers are finally starting to smarten up. Penalties for DUI are much harsher. But habitual drunks still drive, just as criminals still us firearms illegally. Without human interaction, cars and guns are quite safe. When used responsibly and lawfully, both are also safe.
