My I-130 was received by the USCIS on April 20th. Recently I have tried to view my case status online but the receipt number is showing "invalid". Yes i entered it correctly and even tried to create a user account on the website and reenter my receipt number... still invalid. I called them yesterday but they were closed and i will have to wait until Monday to speak to someone. It is going through TSC. Has anyone else had this problem?  Here's the screen shot...

I also tried to "ask Emma" the online chat support and it said this...

I just want to ease my mind since I'm having to wait the weekend to call them back.

You got your case receipt number from your NOA1 letter or text/email? Sometimes it happens that it takes a few weeks before the cases become "active" on the online tool. Just have patience :-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

The receipt number was the same on the email, text and NOA1. I understand being patient, or trying to be haha,  but it's just concerning because all of the other April filers have been able to view their cases online... even the Nebraska people

Hi, my PD is April 26, I-130 spouse (USCitizen), using Texas service center (TSC)

Same as you, I called at 15 days, 30 days, 45 days, 120 days, 150 days to get updates on Case Number (Case # status on website says my case is invalid still)

The last time I called, they said they are moving to a new database or system, so not all have been transfered or there might be errors. So no worries if the case # still says invalid.

According to VisaJourney timeline, they estimate that you and me should get our approval last week or this week (Nov 1 - 9), so hopefully it's in the mail soon. Keep in touch with me, we have similar PD dates! Are you USCitizen too?

Yes, I'm a U.S. Citizen too. My timeline says the same. Hopefully we'll hear from them soon!! I've been in my husbands country the last few months, so I haven't called since it's so expensive long distance. I'll be in the U.S. for thanksgiving & planning on calling then...but hopefully next week will be our week!

Wow. Congratulations though! The wait time shouldn't be as long now. Mine is in Nebraska, so I still am praying for "fast" processing. Am trying to get my mom.
