I tell you what's going on ! Few days back I went through Trumps new executive orders regarding extreme vetting on imigrant visas , apparently they will double & triple check the imigrant visas & if necessary they will have you fill out a new form regarding your last 15 years history , passport numbers , addresses, jobs etc.. so they are just running background checks on us, excautive order allows them to take additional 90 days for vetting. 

 

Sit it tight at least there is some progress on your case , mine is still stuck on Ready

Not necessarily as your case is already turned into NIV ... your wait time might be coming to an end, I know how fraustrating it is... as I'm going through the same thing.. advise for ya .. keep yourself busy .. go to gym & work out ur stress , play soccer , this way u won't think too much about it , when time comes you will have your visa in ur hand.

Any news on your side ?? 

Mine is still on AP since July 8th😭 I sent email to Embassy to see what's going on.  They have had my Fiancé's passport for almost 6 months!

Isn't this only for the 6 Muslim countries? I know we have extreme vetting in the countries for our k1 visa but 90 extra days??

This is absolutely Disgusting!  To be vetted this long. They obviously must know if ur bad or not within a certain time frame😐 So sad to do this to everyone from Muslim countries!

No I didnt as the bill was launched on 17th May and didn't get through the congress till end of May 2017.
