Hello, I am in the process of sending in my I129. The only concern I have is that my fiancee is in Egypt and we are worried about how the embassy may react to same sex fiancee. Is there anything to be worried about? Has there been and approval in this consulate for the same visa category?  If anyone has information on a case such as this please let me know. Thank you.

It's a US embassy, so US law applies. Same sex couples can petition fine and without fear of discrimination. Egypt itself is a difficult embassy, but that's the case for anybody.

Im nervous about the Egyptian workers who ask questions before going into the actual interview with the american officer, 

They're employed by the embassy as well, so they would be putting their jobs at risk. I know that's not entirely comforting because they can't control what others do. But all you should have to do for them is present ID (i.e. your passport) and possibly proof of your scheduled appointment. Here's another thread recently that I suggest taking a look at:
