I'm trying to complete the I-864 at the moment. I live overseas with my husband, and plan to move with him, as soon as he gets the visa. I have a question, on Part 4:

- In the Mailing address, I'm putting my US Address (My mom's house)

- In the physical address, I'm putting my overseas address.

- My question is on the "Country of Domicile" (Part 4 #5). I should put USA, correct?? I would appreciate your help with this question as soon as possible.

Hello All,

We've submitted the DS-261 online yesterday, called NVC today to review it and also got my welcome letter (paosf) with the AOS fee 'barcode page' and a document cover sheet. Paid the AOS fee today.  From my understanding now we're waiting to receive the IV bill to pay and fill out the DS-260 online (once unlocked) and mail in the package.  Now that we're still waiting for the IV bill, should I prepare my package now? I don't know where to start and some people mentioned a checklist that was sent?  Is it the same checklist that in the welcome email under 'Document Cover sheet'?  I-864 form?  I'm overwhelmed with information and would like some clarity on that.  Thanks

Yes, prepare your package now. The Document Cover Sheet lists all kinds of documents, some of which may not be applicable to your case. You basically need civil documents for the beneficiary and financial documents for the petitioner/sponsor and same for the joint sponsor if you are using one and supporting documents. Read the NVC guide here on Visajourney or also @JessieABC's nvc guide

 Case approved, interview date June 27th.

 

No scan date or CC date available. Docs sent via email on Thursday May 11th. Called in to inquire yesterday, whether email received and was told completed and pending for appointment date. Literally took 3 business days.

Oh my god that's amazing!!!!!! Congratulations ! It's shocking how much faster email processing is ...only 6 days for approvals!

 

Hope everything goes well at the interview! Which embassy will it be at?

It'll be at the Montreal Embassy.

 

yes, I am quite surprised myself. I am currently in debate as to whether i should go ahead with the dated interview date or re-schedule.

On the schedule date, i'll be 30 wks, not sure if I should be flying (4-5 hrs flight)  any advise?

Ask your doctor if you can fly! If you've had an uneventful pregnancy so far, you should be fine. Pick an aisle seat, make sure to get up and walk for a couple of minutes every hour or so, keep hydrated and wear compression socks.
