Thank you guys. I wrote a note on the last page in additional notes to state her maiden name, as some of our co sponsors papers were in her married name, and some (like 2014 taxes) were in her maiden name.

I will definitely try get a supervisor review, we are resubmitting our forms today, so I'll update with a new scan date next week hopefully.

One question, would it be fine to just refill that entire form in black pen?

Is it not possible to reprint the version you already submitted? The problem is with a black pen, they don't get the barcoded info.. But i don't know how important that is..

Hey guys quick question... i recently changed jobs and im the sponsor for my husband, my previous employer made a letter saying how long ive been with them and the financial evidence show my paystubs of previous job. My question is.. does it matter to update the employer ? Isnt it the point to simply prove you make more than their minimum income level ? . Our case is still waiting to be reviewed scan date May 22nd. I just dont want to delay anything..more than its already been

Congrats! Hopefully we will be within the same time frame for an interview. My CC was on 7/7/17 but from what I'm hearing is that if you do not receive a notification by the end of the week, it is most likely that we will fall under September interviews.

Once confirmed through NVC, please be sure to update the spreadsheet.

Ok everyone... this is long but this is what i know about my RFE so far:

The RFE is for my daughter's proof of lawful US employment (she is a citizen).  She was listed on my tax return as my child, but she also filed a tax return last year for the first time since she was employed part time at mc donalds.  So they wanted to see her lawful employment in the usa.

When I called the nvc office the lady that answered also agreed that this was an awful RFE since my daughter's employment is irrelevant to our case as she is not a sponsor, or anyway involved, other than I claimed her as a dependent on my taxes.  The lady also stated that ultimately it was the case workers choice whether or not to request this document, and that I should mail her birth certificate as soon as possible (it was sent overnight express mail today.  They will recieve by noon tomorrow.) BUT..that I should also contact a supervisor and request either an expedited review of the document, or ask them to "remove the conditions" and continue the case closed because this document is a non-issue.  I will call and talk to a supervisor as soon as the document has been scanned.  I could attempt to call them now and get the document request removed.. but I think I might have better luck after the birth certificate is available to the supervisor.  Then they can choose to add it or not..their choice.

Hopefully this can be resolved quickly😊.  Maybe 1 or 2 weeks maximum I think. I feel better now anyway, especially after I was able to contact a very helpful NVC operator who was very willing to explain everything to me.  She was extremely helpful.

That's great! It didn't make sense for them to ask in the first place. So best of luck, and definitely keep calling to ask for a supervisor review or let them call you back.
