NVC - May 2017 Scan Dates - Method 4: Mail processing

Hello guys,

 

I just got off the phone with NVC.... my case was completed today!  I also confirmed the status on CEAC website "Case at NVC" & AOS disappeared 

my Scan Date: May 25th 2017

Case Complete: July 14th 2017

 

The agent told me to sit tight and wait for the interview date, hopefully will receive it soon. 

 

Wish all the best for remaining May's Scan date, sit tight you will hear the good news soon

Just called the NVC - our case is being reviewed! 

 

Transferred to review department: 07/13

 

Scan date: 05/17

In other good news, we just got notification of our Interview date for August 4th. Really happy to see we are one of the quickest CC to Interview date for London - 28 days.

New interview date is August 10, had to reschedule.

 

They processed and scheduled us so soon that the medical exam office didn't even have availability in time to make the interview. No biggie tho, the reschedule was easy and there were open dates that fit the needs.

Not to be a downer but we have the scan date of April 3rd and have been stuck in administrative processing for over a month and a half for no reason whatsoever at least no reason my lawyer can think of we did have a checklist with one item which was fulfilled. Nvc tells you on the phone is that you're in administrative processing and they don't know how long it's going to take which is very unfair to be open-ended something wrong with that and the non-transparency of why it's in administrative processing is also unfair!

Hi @nessasmom980! My scan date is May 17 I just called for an update but was surprised when they told me our case is being reviewed! Last time I called was 2 days ago but it wasnt being reviewed yet. Try calling, someone just got a CC with a May 25 scan date, yours could be in review as well!!!

@Mashedm Thanks. How does that work for a supervisor to review? Do i just call and ask for a supervisor and they will dive in more into my case? Cause the operator doesnt know nothing but what they see in the screeen.

@RamStu Hi , my second scan date is May 19. 

Yes i sent everything in one paquet to NVC. You are right It's most likely that NVC did not scan the entire package at once and for some reason other sheets were scanned at another time.

I just got another week added to my case. Its not a big deal but very weird.
