I just checked my NVC case status and I observed that my Action required has change to "AT NVC".

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

Please I don't understand the meaning.

Hey Onileowo,

This mean that you have a CC. I would like to also thank you because I checked my case and I got a CC! Just please be patient and wait until you receive an email with your interview instruction. You can also call daily to the NVC for status update. I hope this helps.

Hi, called the NVC yesterday (my time) they said it is a case complete and bring the requested doc on my interview, and they are working on my interview date.

Btw @JBMG, I already completed the questionnaire.

Have a great day!:D

Ok everyone.. I need your expertise.  This will be a bit long.. but I am extremely confused now.  I called NVC tonight and the lady said "Additional Civil documents were scanned into our case on June 27(documents included his birth certificate, passport, etc) and it can take up to 11 weeks after the final scan to get a case complete"..

But the issue is this... my scan date is May 24th and NO documents have been sent by me or my Husband since that time. The packet included his passport, birth certificate (which they say was just scanned in late june).  What could they have possibly scanned in late June?  Could she be mistaken and the recent changes in the case are really them preparing the file for review? Could the case already be in review?

She insisted that additional documents had been sent to them... but I am 100% sure everything was sent in 1 packet nearly 7 weeks ago.

...any advise or info would be appreciated thanks😊

I'm sorry to hear the mess NVC has caused you. You can request to speak with the supervisor to see if in fact your original scan date was May 24th and if the packet included the items they scanned or rescanned on June 27th. The supervisors are more hopeful in solving these issues than the operators. If they supervisor is too bust to take the call, please leave your name and number and have then return your call. I hope this helps and I hope you get this resolved. Please keep us updated.
