Hi,

So I'm in a bit of complicated situation.

My IR1 visa (through marriage to U.S. citizen, valid til the middle of September) already got approved.

I was planning on flying to the U.S. early September due to my job contract.

From where I live to where my spouse lives in the U.S. is about 16hr flight.

I was invited by my friend who lives in Guam, where it's only 2hr flight from here.

I would like to visit him for couple days hopefully this month but if I do with my IR1 visa, since I will be returning to my home country in couple days, there will be a few month gap til I actually move to the U.S.

I'm afraid that the few months of staying in my home country after being granted green card at the airport in Guam may result in revocation of green card.

I wonder if I can visit Guam with VWP not using IR1?  I'm sure the officer at the airport will see the IR1 visa stamp on my passport though.
