Is there anyway to contact the US Embassy in Chisinau?

I was hoping my fiance would have her Visa/Passport by now, because I bought a plane ticket for tomorrow but they still have not given it to her.

She passed her interview Last Wednesday (9 days ago)

In less than 24 hours she needs to be at the airport.

https://md.usembassy.gov/  at the bottom they have their contact info, but I am pretty sure you have already visited their webpage.

On a side note, for these specific situations everyone recommends not booking the flights until Visa-in-hand, so no financial loss due to unpredictable delays.

Best of luck and felicitari :goofy:

You will never know until you try.

They will probably tell you that you made a mistake buying a ticket without visa in hand.

Hi, I had a K-1 visa issued by the same Embassy, they usually let you know at the interview when to be back for the package of documents and passport. My interview was Sept 30th and I flew out on October, 21st, almost 22 days later.

Oh wow!! :(

I did a similar mistake, though I was very paranoid about the timing so we only booked the flight, so the loss was minimal.

Did you get it by now at least?

i had my interview at Chisinau, my husband was with me and yes, we had tickets . At the end of interview i was asked whether we had ticket so we said that yes, we did. the consulate made everything what they could to help us. my interview was on the 12 of June and visa was ready on the 17th. we called them 2 days after the interview and visa was actually ready. But as i lived in Balti (2 hours drive from Chisinau) we picked it up before our flight . And yes, Chisinau embassy staff is very nice and helpful when you want to communicate.
