hello people. I just read at the new delhi, consulate website that even when the spouse is granted the k-3 visa- it does not gurantee an entry into the U.S. this message left me little confused. so it would be really helpful if someone could clarify this for me. The following is the direct message-

"Applicants should be aware that a visa does not guarantee entry into the United States. Legally, the visa specifies the period during which the bearer may apply at a port of entry to enter the United States. The Department of Homeland Security - Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Service office (DHS-BCIS) authorizes the traveler's admission to the United States, not the consular officer."

I would not worry about that. They will not stop you unless they suspect fraud.

The message is in error - it's the Customs and Border Patrol section of DHS that authorizes admission at a POE, not CIS. But the message is correct that a visa does not guarantee entry to the USA. If the CBP officer finds that the visa holder is not eligible for admission they will not admit the person.

If you have nothing to hide and your case is legit, wou will be fine
