Alien number changed?

Hello everyone!

Starting from the beginning:

When my fiance was filling out the I129F for me, he asked about my alien number and I told him I never had one. I had gone to college in the US and had a SSN but I never knew if I had an alien number. So we left that question blank.

The NOA1 for the I-129F came with an alien number, so I thought ok, this is my infamous A-number now. (alien number 1)

Alien number 1 is the number I used when I recently filled out AOS documents, I-485 and such and sent them. While doing the AOS however, I discovered that there was an alien number on my EAD from my OPT after college. Form I-765 asks about old EAD cards so I included a photocopy of my old card in my application. (alien number 2)

I recently received the three NOA1s for my AOS in the mail and all of them have a completely new alien number on them (alien number 3).

 

To summarize, I now seem to have 3 alien numbers in the system.

Is this going to cause me problems? Should I call and ask them what is going on? Will I be using the most recent alien number from now on?

I've had a similar experience. I had a USCIS # for my F1 OPT and was given a new one with my I-485 notices of action. I've been using the second alien number for official purposes, since it's on my current AOS EAD and was also on my biometrics notice. I haven't had any problems so far and my interview is coming up in early June. So I don't think you should have issues if you use the latest USCIS #.

 

If others have more expert insight, that would be helpful.

Thanks! I wasn't surprised to get another alien number (alien number 2) since I did not remember and thus did not tell them about it but this third one is confusing to me. Maybe they combined the two?
