Still NO May 2017 filers thread - is the rush over?

Usually we would see the upcoming month's filers starting their thread a few days before the month starts. However, we have yet to see a thread for May 2017. Could this be an indication that the rush caused by the travel ban and such is over and less petitions are being filed?
If so, could this give the USCIS an opportunity to better handle the backlog?

Relax, this is not a race.

I understand that not everyone is here and not every place is proportionally represented here. The fact of the matter is that the same is true for the last 4 months and we have had very lively and crowded threads for the last several months. In comparison to them, May seems to be different.
I have not seen a thread that started a week into the month since Trump took office. That is what I am referring to when I say "the Rush".

Thank you for your input guys. Honestly I am only hypothesizing that: there is no May, 2017 thread yet ->there aren't as many eager applicants this month compared to the last several months->there are less people petitioning->the USCIS will be able to process more pending applications since there are less incoming applications.

I know it is an overstretched assumption, but I have seen on the USCIS datasheet that actual decrease in the number of petitions is observed during summer periods.

In all fairness though 3 filers by day 4 is significantly less than 10 pages-long thread on day 1 for the last couple of months. :) So the overall theory is not whether or not there is a thread for May or whether or not people are filing in May. The theory is less people are filing. :)

It all takes one person who initiate the thread and the rest would follow. Some people are hesitant to open a thread, especially with monthlies since you need to copy/paste the template.

If we assume that May filers are hesitant people needing on person to open the thread, we must assume the same about the filers from other, particularly busy months before May.
If the people of the previous months were, in fact, different, then the only explanation is that there was a rush. :)
