Be VERY VERY careful with that.  The embassy will not accept vaccines given to you by doctors other than the approved doctors listed in the packet 3/4.  If you really want to get the vaccines elsewhere call the Embassy and get approval.  I would hate to see you get the vaccines twice because the first ones are not approved or recognized.

Yes it is very expensive.  I've spent a lot of money.

I-129F was $535 USD

Visa Fee $265 USD

Medical 245,000 COP

Lab 420,000 COP

Vaccines, up to a maximum of 350,000 COP  (My fiance paid 300,000)

Flight tickets to fly to USA

Flight tickets to visit fiance during this whole process

And if you have an attorney, attorney fees

It's been very very expensive for me.  But.... it's worth it.

Sí, es muy caro. He gastado mucho dinero.

I-129F fue de $ 535 USD

Cargo por Visa $ 265 USD

Médico 245.000 COP

Laboratorio 420.000 COP

When traveling to the USA you only have to buy one-way tickets of course.  I meant that throughout the whole process, over 8 months of time since we started this, I've visited many time and spent a lot of money on trips.  But once you get the Visa, just buy one-way tickets.  I'll be moving back with her, so I still have to buy round trip tickets :P

Hi everyone, I am applying for a k1 visa right now will be sending in the i-129form tomorrow. My fiancé lives in Barranquilla with her 8 year old son, both who are will be bringing over to the US. Are the approved physicians only in Bogota? So she will have to fly 2 to Bogota? She needs to fly to get the medical done with her son, the hopefully they can mail the results to her. Then she makes the appointment for the interview and flys out a 2nd time??

If anyone has any suggestions for the best way to tackle this since she lives in Barranquilla with her son I would really appreciate it.

Yes, in Bogota with her son and in the doctor and she expects her results the same day. Then she and her son return to Bogotá by appointment with embassy. talk to your fiancée to enter Colombians with visa in visajourney and she can learn more
