I'm joining the party here. I filed my AOS from K1 in April, but we just moved to Maryland. Anyone knows if changing of addresses affect the processing time? Any other March/April filers here?

I changed my address, and shortly after my interview was scheduled. I am not sure if thet was the reason because  I filled for AOS November 2016.

it does not, it just moves your case to the Baltimore Office and then you wait :)

it's been silent in here for a while - no updates at all?

Hi, fellow Baltimore office filer here. Filed on May 24 (for I-485 and EAD - Filed for AP in July). Submitted SR for my EAD last week. 90 days up on Tuesday next week. Not super heartened by what I've read in terms of speed but it will come when it comes!

Keep us all posted and best wishes to everyone :-)

Any fellow Baltimore field office filers from 2017 had their green card interviews yet (or got one scheduled)? The question I don't want to ask but have to is, anyone who filed in 2016 still waiting for theirs?!

In particular I'm interested in those filing to AOS from K-1, because that's what I'm doing too. Thanks.

Ok, so finally I decided to call USCIS since has been over a month from my interview, and haven't heard anything about my status. The lady was very polite but not much of a help. The answer i got was that my case it's under review, and Baltimore office it's currently working on cases from July 15 2016. I filled in November so i have to wait 3-4 months for a decision, my case it's still in the normal processing time. 🤔

this is not true! they were working on those as of June 30, BUT working on a case meaning that they will call you for an interview. Go ahead and place a service request online and hopefully it will help. It will take like a week to get in assigned

Thank you, i will definitely place a service request. I thought calling USCIS will be helpful and get some informations, but I guess it's not.

they have a script and check those processing times, so that is why. at the most they can do without a level 2 officer is put it a service request and read off whatever is listed on the website

I already posted my experience, I don't know how to repost it. My interview was on July 19 8:30 am. I am married to a USC for almost 3 years, and we have 2 children together. The interview went pretty well, in 20 min we were done, the officer was very friendly, the only thing he asked for was extra copy of the children birth certificate, and checked if he has a copy of my husband's divorce. I offered all the documents we brought, updated I 846 with 2016 taxes, I brought everything I could think off from the past 3 years, but he said he has everything he needs. He asked me the yes/no questions, my husband's and children's full name and date of birth, what we do for living and that was it. He said everything looks good, we had the children with us, he made a comment that he has no doubt, and we have been married for awhile. In the end he said he need to review my application again and he will mail the decision. I did not get the paper saying interview was completed, few minutes later online status changed to interview was completed and your case is under review.

😒 I had mine on June 14th. Submitted an SR online on July 15...guess what...it was only assigned to an officer at the end of July. Case still says interview scheduled and the details below say on July 30 your case was assigned to an officer. During the process of waiting for my SR to be processed I reached out to congressman. They submitted inquiry on my behalf. Beginning of this month I got a letter in the mail asking for new fingerprints as they are expired. Not your typical fingerprints letter...no appointment given just says to show up at any of 3 facilities within 30 days. Done that 2 days after receipt. Still nothing...
