Update:

It is in fact our WELCOME TO AMERICA LETTER aka our I-485 approval notice! Yay! Approval date was 03/12/2018. Our interview date was: 2/21/2018.

Congratulations!!! 😊😊

Can I ask you something? We had our interview on 26/02/2018, at the same office as you, in Baltimore. The interview was good, but the interviewer did not approve the green card that day. He gave us a paper saying that they needed to review our case, and that we could have to wait up 120 days. I've checked my status every day and it still says "your interview has been scheduele". How did you make a service request? Did your online case change after you received your welcome later? Please, I hope you can help. I want to make a service request but it's been only 18 days since my interview.

I did get an update that our case was being reviewed but no update about the approval just a letter in the mail today.

Our officer played her poker face well. She didn't give us any hints about how the interview went and gave us the sheet about 120 days  and we should hear from them about a decision.

She did make it clear that if we don't hear from them in 120 days, to come in immediately for an info pass appointment (I thought it was interesting she mentioned this because I interpreted it as this has been an issue recently).

We did ask if there was anything in the file that was missing or needed to be update and she told us everything looked to be there and up to date.

You can make a service request on the https://www.uscis.gov/ The USCIS home page. It turns out our case was approved the day before I placed the request so I don't actually know if it would make a difference but it can't hurt. I just wrote the reason I was checking on the case was because my husband license was about to expire and he needs it to drive to work every day.

Hopefully you here some good news soon!

I am not sure about this. Form I-130 asks about the field office we want to apply the AOS to and we selected Baltimore. Anybody with similar experience? I am temporarily living out of Maryland. My biometric was completed out of Maryland as well.

Thanks, I selected Baltimore and my application was also accepted at the time. I just talked to USCIS customer service and it seems this is a correct statement that USCIS will choose the field office and the decision is made based on the applicant's zip code.

Hi @Raymond_CA,

I'm currently compiling my AOS forms.

I don't understand the first part. Do you mean that you selected Baltimore but you don't live in Baltimore? Where did you end up completing your biometric?

Did USCIS ultimately send you to the field office based on your zip code to do your biometric?

Congratulations! We are still waiting for our interview to get scheduled.... Today marks 182 days since PD, I just submitted a SR on I-485, although I don't really expect it can make any difference...

Do you happen to remember around how many days you and your husband receive interview schedule notice?

It was 8 months and 2 days from PD of July 17, 2017 to our Green Card arriving in the mail yesterday 03/19/2018. We received our interview notice at the end of January (they send them out a month prior to the interview date).

A total of 245 days. I think you have a couple of more months to go. We seem to be on a pretty typical Baltimore processing timeline (a couple of people on here still haven't received a Green Card from interviews that took place before our interview and have PD dates before us).

Hang on. You will get there soon. :)

hey guys, quick questions. i have just created an account at the new myuscis site and i saw this status "We are scheduling your interview" for my AOS, which apparently has been there since nov 23. i have been regularly tracking my case both on the uscis website and app and this is the first time i saw this status.

How long from this status, did you hear from uscis? And then there is another status I should expect after this, which is "your interview has been scheduled", which means they have already sent me a letter with the interview date (which is typically a month after this status, right)?

thanks.

Hello all!

I am trying to get an "Info Pass" appointment with the Baltimore Field Office but according to their website there is no availability for the next 14 days. It was the same last week, and the week before that.... https://my.uscis.gov/en/appointment/new?appointment[international]=false

Someone was able to get an appointment in the past? If yes, how did you do?

We still haven't received any news since December (no travel authorization, no EAD) and we want to make sure our application is still under review.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Have a great evening!
