Just received our interview date! Jan 25th. We were May 2017 filers. My case status hasn't changed on line either.

They actually sent it on Dec 20th but sent to our old address (we have auto-forwarding) even though I notified them on 17th Dec that we had moved (we moved on the 16th). That generated an auto-reply saying they would contact me by 29th Dec. I didn't receive any further contact so perhaps I should call them to make sure they have our new address.

Now to read up on what to take to the interview!

Yes, they're getting through them it seems. Ignoring the official info on the USCIS site about processing times which tells us they are stuck in Nov 2016. I suspect that is perhaps info on their oldest case? Either way, I'm sure you'll hear something soon :-)

I’m a July 3rd filer, and my interview is Jan 31st, I did get an RFE so I don’t know how the logic works of the USCIS

We had an RFE but it stopped the process for just 13 days. It was just because I hadn't sent a certified copy of the marriage certificate, only a photocopy (which was silly of me!) so it didn't take much analyzing on receipt I guess.

My RFE was for a tax transcript for 2016, we submitted straight away, they started working on my case again August 15th so not much of a delay

Yeah, you should call them to make sure they have your new address. They mailed my green card to our old address too, I wouldn't have known if my ex-housemates didn't contact me.

We just received a text message this morning that there was an update to our case. I checked my email and it said status updated to: Interview and Testing

In the email it said we have our interview date Feb 21, 2018. YAY!

Are we the first one to receive an email/status update that is accurate. Hahaha.

We are July 13th filers from K1.

Congratulations! Good to see that things are moving at Baltimore office.

Our PD is July 10th, stuck at "Fingerprint fee is received". Hope we too hear from USCIS soon :)

My husband and I seem to be the only ones on VJ that have been getting accurate updates through email and the website throughout this entire process (We were updated on the approval of our EAD before it arrived also). I checked informed delivery this morning and no interview letter coming yet but it sounds like the next couple of days.

It seems like Baltimore sends out a bunch of interview letters all at once every couple of weeks from following this forum. Hopefully you are in this round of interviews!

Hi all...

I'm very confused by this whole process at this point!  We submitted the AOS/EAD/AP all at the same time, NOA date Oct 17, 2017.  My husband had his biometrics done in Baltimore on Nov 6th. The only update on the website is on his AOS which seems weird.  It says his case is ready to be scheduled for an interview as of Jan 9th.  Isn't that quick?  We haven't received the appt letter yet and we don't have his EAD or AP yet and there are no updates for these on the USCIS website.  He's quite anxious to start working.

Thanks,

Dawn

A lot of people receive that update (relatively soon in the process) and won't receive an interview date for months . The good news is Baltimore seems to be going a little faster than processing times are saying. About 7-8 months to interview instead of 10-12 months which is what websites are saying. But still everyone's timeline is completely different. If you are a K1 applicant there is a chance that you might not even be asked to interview.

We never received a ready for interview update just an: Interview and Tests update with the date of interview.

Someone on here said they website updated to green card approved months after they received their green card.

My AOS Marriage Interview is Feb 3rd in Baltimore.

PD July 3rd 2017, Bio August 22nd (had to delay it cos of working)

With the current government shut down, are we in danger of having the interview rescheduled or it will be they can’t make a decision due to current situation, anyone have any ideas on this

I would highly doubt the shutdown would last until then but if the government is still shut down then there are no interviews. Or at least that is what every other forum on this page is saying.

Visas and passports functional normally but Interviews stop.
