So, I had an infopass on Monday 30. Happened to get this young, very thorough, nerdy looking IO who took the time to go through my file with a fine tooth comb. I patiently waited for 2 1/2 hours.He finally called my husband and I and said my i485 was approved for a 10 year GC and that he apologizes for the delay as the case was just sitting there with no issues. Gave me a summary and said I’d get a letter in the mail. Got letter 2 days later and case updated on Thursday ‘card has been mailed’. I’m still waiting but so relieved that it’s over. Good luck to everyone!

Today i will try to make an info pass and hopefully soon i will get the GC.

Thank you, @Stefi. I got my GC yesterday. Journey is over for now. I now have a new challenge; find a new job. My current project ends next month. Good luck to you. Check very early in the morning for infopass appointments.

Ohh, that was quick. I wish you good luck. I tried to make infofass 5am, and it's said there is no available appointment to try again tomorrow. I will check later on again, you really gave me a hope, and I feel am very close to finish with my journey as well.

I know, I put one SR back in August and never got the response. Calling USCIS doesn't seem to be helpful either.

I tried them too, so I put one, never heard back, then I put another and it was responded to within 7 days! There are apparently different types or SRs, so put in another one and you will hear back for sure

The SR you heard back on did they give a decision or did it just say completed 

 

i have another SR in which they respond in 10 days and my local congresswoman has enquirerd for me

Congressman did not help much, though they responded to him. After a second SR< interview was scheduled in 3 days

When did you file, and from K1? I filed in May. Been 'ready to be scheduled for interview' since June 29. I had an Infopass about my AP a month or so ago. He told me then that my I-485 was still at the NVC and hadn't been passed to Baltimore yet. 

 

I made an SR for the AP which was never responded to. When I called them, they raised a second SR but I received my AP before that one ran out. Maybe that's the thing to do with the I-485?

we filed back in October 2016. It was from a B-2 based on a marriage to LPR with USCIS allowing to file with a 1 away current priority date

No Updates on the Greencard or Interview (online still just says case received). We got EAD/AP about 3 weeks ago. We are filing from K1. I don't expect to hear anything until late Spring/summer about the Greencard at this pace but will always hope we are just approved without an interview.
