My friend today received his EAD,, his filing date was June 2nd for the EAD and AOS, fingerprints were done June 19th.

 

Like me he his switching from a work visa to GC threw marriage 

I actually don't know that answer. I would assume it sits on someones desk until they process it. Some might just get luckier then others with processing time :(

01/31/17.... K1 Visa Approved

02/03/17.... K1 Visa Received in Hand

06/05/17....Arrived in the USA (LAX)

08/07/17.... Biometrics Appointment EAD - complete (walked in)

10/23/17.... EAD/AP card delivered to house YAY!

Update:       It is in fact our WELCOME TO AMERICA LETTER aka our I-485 approval notice! Yay! Approval date was 03/12/2018. Our interview date was: 2/21/2018.

Update. Finally got notification my EAD is being produced today. So happy! One less thing to worry about. I applied on 24th May so it's past 90 days. Only on Tuesday this week I had to call as they had not replied to my SR and was told there was nothing showing on my case so she raised a second SR over the phone. Don't need to chase that up anymore!

 

i only applied for AP 2 months later so I don't expect it to be a combo card, but I would love it if it was!

Still nothing from my end waiting on my EAD, it's now been 2 and half months for me,

I emailed our local congressman. They responded back with some paperwork they would submit on my husbands behalf (but we are hoping to have a job offer to submit with the paperwork). My husband is meeting with a company in Elkridge for a lunch meeting, we don't know what to expect but hope it ends in a job offer that we might be able to submit.

 

Basically we are just trying to set ourselves up for an expedite for an EAD right now, fingers crossed a job offer comes in soon. Sorry no real useful news here.

No we haven't sent the follow up paperwork to the congressman yet because my husband had two job interviews last week. We are hoping to have a formal job offer before we sent the paperwork back in. Fingers crossed he hears back from one of the jobs this week.

How long has your EAD been in, what's your file date, 

fingers crossed he gets a job offer, and then you can speed it up

July 13, 2017 we is our file date for EAD/Travel Docs

July 17, 2017 for AOS

 

Don't know why they have different dates because we sent them in at the same time.
