How do I check my VJ timeline.

luckily for me so far I can work on my h2b work visa which runs out November 25th, I want to change jobs which is better money, the EAD wait is frustrating me already

You have to go to your personal profile and fill in your personal Timeline for whatever application you are filing for. They will update the processing time based on what others VJers are currently experiencing. So far the times lines have been fairly accurate.

8 months for GC at the Baltimore office? That's not lucky, that's a miracle!

I'm way past my 90 days for EAD, and found out today they haven't responded to my SR (they were due to respond today) so had to call to raise another, which they have 5 days to respond to, so hope to get the EAD at least pretty soon. Been 'ready to be scheduled for interview' since June 29th and wasn't even expecting it in 2017, but your speedy decision gives me some hope!

It doesn't, does it? I knew from recent posts that the 90 days for getting the EAD now seems to be something They don't do anymore and most are taking 100 days plus. But I expected more from a SR than just "they haven't processed it yet".

From what I understand, the fingerprints for the EAD most times you get the all clear in a 4/5 days, it's the same fingerprint check You do if you want to work with kids or at a college

i don't see why there is such a delay unless they have piles of papers sat on a desk, surely the fingerprint check on the EAD is the last step

Well I would have thought so too.

I had my biometrics in mid-June so I would imagine it's just sheer volume of applicants causing delay. Just trying to stay patient but it's not easy!

I'm switching from a work visa to GC, so I'm guessing you've been here 4 months and haven't been able to work

This is what I found just on visa processing times, for the EAD there working on the April ones, so hopefully you'll be soon, it used to be 90 days but doesn't seem like that anymore

Unfortunately I don't think it makes a difference. My husband worked in the US for 6 years prior to getting Married but we are back in the same boat as all the other AOSers. We spent the past 18  months saving and thank goodness we did because we figured he would be working in a month or two after filing from what others experienced in the past. :(
