If someone hasnot submitted documents to NVC but scheduled an interview appointment in ISLAMABAD as K1 visa applicant  then what to do??

You need to cancel ur appointment at Embassy until u have all the proper documentation.  Did u file a k1 petition?  Did it get approved at USCIS?  Once it goes there and gets approved. .then it will go to NVC.. after NVC then they send ur documents to the Embassy and u get an appointment for an interview. Each Embassy is different with scheduling appointments..some email u an appointment and some u email them.. good luck

I had my K1 visa interview in Islamabad. You don't submit any documents to NVC. Actually USCIS sends your approved petition to NVC and then NVC give it a case number and forward it to Islamabad.

Thanks a lot Mehar. GOD bless u. I just wanted to ask again that now i do not need to send any documents by courier to islamabad and I have to just go for Medical examination before interview apart from collecting documents am I aright?

Once you have the appointment date. Just go for medical examination. The report take almost a week or so to get back. so go accordingly. coz you gonna need to have the report in hand by then. Just make sure don't leave anything behind even if you think its not necessary still take it with you to interview as precaution.

 

One more thing. Email the NVC and get the case number etc from them like an official email. They will ask you for this before medical also when you go to interview. Though they say for K1 you don't need the NVC letter stating case number and case sent to embassy but they still ask you.

 

Funny thing is we got the letter from NVC after the interview. Lol
