I've read tons of different things on here about how people save their FB conversations. However, I can't find anything super useful. I just want to screenshot parts of my conversations, but can't figure out how to get to the start of the conversation without scrolling.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

The instructions here:  https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-scroll-up-to-the-beginning-of-a-long-Facebook-chat

They don't seem to work for me any longer.  I had used them in the past to do it.  Your may have better luck than I have been having.

The easiest way is to actually download all of your facebook content in the form of an archive. It will take a long time depending on how many pictures you've posted over your years, but it actually downloads you a text copy of your entire chat history. That way you can legitimately sort through it all and find the areas you want to screenshot, then use the messenger.com search function to find those exact phrases on the website and screenshot them that way.
