Hello, you've made it to 8 weeks, click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

Check My Visa Application Status

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)... Please call the NVC to confirm.

See Example

I've discovered that the processing times may depend on the country you come from. So on our spreadsheet, sort by interview city to see how long cases from your country took to get their CC's.

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review. But honestly, I don't see how this really makes a difference as some people stay in review for 1 day whereas others 14+ days.. And the NVC doesn't always tell you if you're under review.. I would start calling the NVC after normal processing time for your country or after 9 weeks, whatever is later..

Please update the  NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017 with your latest status.

  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes.
    • "June 22 - Morning - Called, still not under review"  (please put date first in your notes).

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

Hang in there.. Keep checking your status daily. If the trends continue for your country, the earliest you could have it would be next week.

HAHAHA, that what it was. Thank you for updating the spreadsheet. Just this morning I deleted that profile off the spreadsheet as I wasn't hearing back..

Well yeah, this is true that they would say that.. They're the customer service line, not actually doing the reviews. but you can clearly see they're not processing by order of receipt... Not sure how it works but if you do sort by country, you def see similarities in processing times..

Here are the processing times for Mexico.

Case Complete (CC) Review dept to CC - DAYS SD to CC - DAYS SD to CC - WEEKS PD to CC - WEEKS
5/18/2017 33 71 10.14 7
5/23/2017 4 71 10.14 47
5/18/2017 No Rev Date 57 8.14 60
5/31/2017 1 68 9.71 4
6/14/2017 No Rev Date 64 9.14 89
5/8/2017 3 68 9.71 No PD

Keep on checking your status, no need to call them. If you get a checklist, it will come by mail.. If you have a CC, your status will change to "at nvc". :)

You're at day 64. Yes, there was one at day 57 but the the rest were at day 64 and up.. So we'll see when yours get's a CC.. Hopefully before day 71. :)

@daprax 2 more days before you reach day 68.. Maybe you'll get your CC by today!! But for sure by next week!! Keep us posted. :)

Good afternoon, I already made my form in your spreadsheet, but I am in doubt, could you make an estimate of when I will have my case complete? I mailed on 04/24/2016. I'm from Brazil.

Great!! Although I don't advise calling before 9 weeks since it's still the average processing time. Sucks because the last case from Ecuador took 75 days (just under 11 weeks).. but she had a checklist.. You're at day 56.. hopefully you'll have yours very soon!! :) Keep us posted..

Hi! There is only one other CC from Brazil that did mail processing, they got their cc in 69 days.. So I would mentally expect to receive your CC about the same timing.. That day would be July 6, 2017. Def start checking your online status today but I wouldn't advise calling the NVC before July 6th..

@JBMG Thanks for all of your well wishes!  I checked this morning twice, then checked again mid-day and the "AOS" was gone, and status said "At NVC."  Super excited as I called NV this afternoon to confirm we have a CC!!! :) Grateful, as I thought I was left behind, did update the questionnaire.  The wait for this stage is over, now onto figure out the interview.  I did ask the rep and they confirmed all July dates were scheduled. Hoping all that follow don't have to wait as long. *\0/*

Hang in there, but can't rush time (biggest patience lessons learned this year).

Yes yes yes!!!!! Very happy you got it before the weekend!!! You were the lone ranger there on our spreadsheet sandwiched between a sea of CCs.

Head over to the following forum to join others waiting for a interview date. :-)
