Hi JBMG

Just called in and got confirmation that they received our package May 10, 2017. We sent out our AOS package a bit later than the rest of our documents.

London has a history of getting CC's at 8 weeks.. So you should start checking your status around July 5th. :) Hopefully sending your documents in 2 separate packages won't delay your case.  When did they receive your latest document? @ynes had sent in additional paperwork one month after their initial scan date.. They had no problems, still will was processed in the normal time of 9 weeks from their original scan date..

Oh man, I really do hope so.

NVC received my latest documents May 10, 2017 via mail. All of the other documentation (DS-260, DS-261 and all payments) was done online quickly after NVC gave notice of receiving my case (March 31, 2017).

I really hope you're right about July 5th! Will keep you posted.

Hi, I have a scan date of April 26th. I received my CC yesterday on June 20th. But I've discovered that the processing times may depend on the country you come from. So on our spreadsheet, sort by interview city and see how long cases from your country took to get their CC's.

Meanwhile, starting at 8 weeks, click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

Check My Visa Application Status

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)... Please call the NVC to confirm.

See Example

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review. But honestly, I don't see how this really makes a difference as some people stay in review for 1 day whereas others 14 days+.. And they don't always tell you if you're under review.. I would start calling the NVC after normal processing time for your country or 9 weeks, whatever is later..

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017  with your latest status.

  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes.
    • "May 26 - Morning - Called, still not under review"  (please put date first in your notes).

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

Nope.. The NVC just verifies that you have the right paperwork.. If you have all the right paperwork, then it shouldn't take longer..  It's the embassy that confirms the paperwork and provides the Visa..

I was extremely jealous too when I was at the USCIS stage, seeing cases from Texas get processed months ahead of Nebraska cases.

Hang in there. You're almost there! :)

Yes, no no no checklist. Have you reviewed all the cases on the spreadsheet that have received a checklist? There is one case from your county that said "They said it was an incorrect birth certificate." Did you confirm that you have the right one?

@JBMG

I got my CC yesterday. There is a list of documents that are missing but I can take them with me at the Embassy so there is no delay wish is just amazing.

Though, I have a question. I know that we are supposed to wait for instructions coming from the Paris Embassy. But are they going to send us an email or an actual letter ?

Thank you for your help guys.

Did they already email you the list of documents? Congrats on your CC.. WE both got our CC yesterday and both from France! So it just proves that the NVC processes our cases based on where our interviews are held. :)

I reply to your second part of your question in another forum.. Will tag you. Thank you for already updating the spreadsheet. :)

Yes, I got an email with the list yesterday. I suppose this is the CC... Our attorney is looking at it because it isn't very clear what we need to bring. But at list they reviewed our case ! Thank you so much for your answers
