Did anyone else's aos info disappear as soon as the NVC received their case? Mine disappeared on my scan date. So the ceac summary page said 2-4 weeks for review, then on my scan date it changed to 30 days for review and the aos info disappeared - has anyone else encountered this? I'm employment based btw.

This is normal for your type of visa case.. You'll have to call the NVC after about 8-9 weeks from your scan date to see if you have an approval. Doesn't seem to be a trick to see if you have a CC by checking your status online..

Have you had a chance to look at our spreadsheet? Open to all NVC scan dates in 2017 (mail, email, CEAC upload)

NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017 (save this link in your browser)

Please visit the following, this will update the spreadsheet with your info.

NVC Case Status Questionnaire -  2017

VERY IMPORTANT: please keep your confirmation email to edit your status as your case moves along.. Yes, You CAN bookmark the questionnaire link but only after opening it up via email. I have no access to resend your original questionnaire to you. Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire

Thank you, JBMG

Yes. My hubby cc on 06/14 and received checklist 06/15 to bring police certificate to interview. I called nvc to confirm he will still get interviewed scheduled and take the police report to the interview and they said yes correct.

Well for mexico it wasnt required to send to NVC so the lawyer didnt send it in. But when we got the casw closed they sent the checklist saying he needs to get one and bring it to the interview.

Maybe they sent you the checklist because the one you sent had expired during the wait time at nvc. I wouldnt worry about it and just make sure you have updated ones at the interview.

When I called to confirm they did case did close and just to bring the police certificate to the interview. They were just waiting for an interview date.

@firstlady2411 @Nana&Akua

You've made it to 8 weeks. Congrats to making it this far. Sometimes there are CC's between 8-9 weeks. Would suggest checking your status daily at this point.

Click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

Check My Visa Application Status

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)... Please call the NVC to confirm.

See Example

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review.  (suggest doing this at 9 weeks)

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017  with your latest status.

  • When you receive a CC or if your case is under review.
  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes.
    • "June 15 - Morning - Called, still not under review"  (please put date first in your notes).

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

@TheFroggy  Crazy, we're both from France and have the same scan date. :) Thanks for adding yourself to the spreadsheet.

Haha ! Yes I know ! This is also why I added myself. I thought that, as I was happy to find someone in the same situation than me, you may be too. Good luck to you and thank you for your involvement on the chat. Keep you posted about how it goes ;)

Here's hoping we get a CC at 9 weeks. Not a lot of recent cases from France so it's hard to gauge timing..

No worries. :). Yeah, updating the questionnaire can be confusing as they have that popup message right when you open it up.. just ignore it, scroll down and update. I kept the new version, deleted the old one. So keep your most recent email from google forms. ;)
