You can check your status here. I also received a checklist on June 9th and as of today, my status still does not say "at nvc."

Good to know.. Before if you had a checklist, your status would change to "at nvc".. Glad this isn't the case anymore. :)

Below are instructions on how to find out if you have CC. 

Note: these screens represent the visa IR-1/CR-1 only. Any other visa type does not apply. 

 

Click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:


Check My Visa Application Status

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)...

Press 2, for Spanish

 

After pressing 1 for English, the options are:

 

1, to verify priority date

2, to establish an agent, request fee bill or invoice number

3, to verify that they received your mail

4, to confirm date and time of interview

5, to update your mailing address, phone number, email address

6, if your case is at a US embassy or consulate overseas

7, for all other questions

I updated it yesterday and mine didn't show, so i did it again last night and it didn't show again. just did it again this morning <3 i haven't seen the update yet, but my scan is 4/10 and in review 6/12!!! scary and exciting all at the same time... i checked my paperwork at least 40 times lol but you never know!!!

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)... Please call the NVC to confirm.

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review. 

 

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017  with your latest status.

  • When you receive a CC or if your case is under review.   
  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes. 
    • "May 26 - Morning - Called, still not under review"  (please put date first in your notes). 

 

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

 

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

So I called Nvc but the lady I spoke to seemed like she was going to tell me my case was in review but she stopped herself and then said we have everything we need and once it gets reviewed you will receive an email we have on file. She first said your case is in re...but then stopped and said the above.

Call again and try speaking to another representative
