SD: April 3rd

Checklist: June 9th.

They claim we are missing Birth Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate but we are certain we have sent these to them. :(

did you write your case number on every paper you sent?

No, I did not. Was that part of the instructions?

Everything I sent was in one package.

It has never been part of the instructions. But people do write because NVC has been quoting few documents as missing or unsent from the applicants. So we consider safer mentioning them on each document that is being sent to NVC...

Either ways should be fine. Don't fret much! Good Luck!

It is for police certificate and BC. They are saying it's the incorrect ones. Which is suprising since we got our information off the site. But I guess good thing is they didn't checklist us about any income or tax info because that would have been harder to fix..

Did they specify in your checklist email that the police certificate and BC are "incorrect"? What does that even mean? For mine, the checklist only tells us to submit the birth certificate and police certificate.

Yes it says they cannot accept the ones we sent. Evidently there is another type they need. They gave us information on the one they need though.

Well, if you think you got the information from the site, then you should stress on asking the information from NVC(as to what went wrong & that you complied to what was on the travel.gov website)

You could also request to talk to a supervisor...to substantially give an appropriate need for you to resend the document. And what needs to be corrected on it.
