Cool, thanks for putting this together. My agent called the NVC on Wednesday, April 3rd and was told to wait and call back on June 22nd (11 weeks and 1 day after scan date) if we had heard nothing by then. I guess they are tired of people calling now?

Probably so.. But there is a way to see if we have a case complete (CC).  I think once we see our status change to "AT NVC", it would be the ideal time to call for an update/confirmation of a CC or a checklist..

Hi, thought I would start a thread for those who have a scan date in April - 2017 from the NVC.  

 

Who should join/follow? Those who filed using Method 4: Mail processing.

 

Please do not join if you used the following methods.  

- Method 1: Upload documents online using CEAC

- Method 2: Choice of processing; EMAIL

- Method 3: Upload documents online using CEAC required

 

We have a long way to go.. They're saying 11 weeks.. But have seen cases (mail processing) get done in 9 weeks.. 

 

When checking in, please provide at the top of your post the following: 

 

NVC Scan Date: (this is the day in April-2017 that the NVC has confirmed via phone that they have received your supporting documents. A complete file is ready for review when the NVC has received your fees, supporting documents, and ds-260.) 

 

CC: (date that you received a Case Complete)

Good morning, I believe our Scan Date is 4/24/2017 as thats the date the representative told us they received the file even though it was at their location a few days before. Thanks.
