I would definitely call NVC and get an update on the status of your case.  Sounds like you may have a CC.

Adreamer, any good news yet?

I haven't called but my ceac hasen't changed yet either 😥

:(<_< Alright.  I was curious because @pjsr and you are close in scan dates and if his status has changed then maybe you are next?? :o:hehe:

If this is also the case then it means they have broken through into April filers finally.  Anyways, just trying to look at the glass half full here. :)

Hey guys,

I was checking the green tab where it says "visa status examples". Happens that since they have my documents my status is "at NVC" and my AOS disappeared but I'm still waiting for the case to be processed and complete. Is this normal?

Unfortunately, this may be normal for you as you're applying for a different VISA type... The example is for CR1/IR1 visas..  Please let us know. :)

Guys as I said my status as been like that since day one scan date, so I don't believe is a CC. Called last Thursday and still waiting. Maybe it's because I'm applying for a EB3 visa

Ah, of course.  I didn't realize this was for a different visa category.  I was getting a little excited there for a moment.

By now is already expired. Nvc repre said will probably get a check list .and another 11 weeks wait becouse they will ask for new certificate . Very sad.

I didn't realize Brazil's PC's were only good for 90 days.  That is still very strange though, because on the NVC website it states that the PC is valid for one year from the date of issuance.  I would think this is standard for everyone regardless of the countries internal rules.  If they do indeed issue a checklist for this expired PC then the information of the NVC website is a little contradictory, no?  Just seems very strange unless someone can clarify this.

Hmmm, I don't know.  Either or I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.  Sometimes the people on the phone don't even have a clue.  They could easily give off a generic response to something like this.

Hi everyone,

hope in the next few days we all starting moving with this long process. Also yesterday I asked the repre from Nvc if there is any time frame about  the interview scheduling in Brazil , and she said they will start "July" then I asked her to give more details ; she said that every month the embassy will send all the available dates for possible interviews , then they will fill the dates until the end of the month. If anyone left will put in the next month ,obviously But since they give wrong information sometimes then I don't know if that is currently! but this one could be right . If anyone know anything about please share with us . Thanks !!

Thats is pretty similar to what I was told by a supervisor when I spoke with one a few weeks back.  The supervisor said they are given a list of available times for interviews at the beginning of each month.  Once those slots fill up, you will have to wait till the next month... So I'm hoping we hear something by the end of June, that way we make it in time to get an interview date at the beginning on July.
