This is ridiculous, who takes 11 weeks just to review a couple documents

It's up to 11 weeks for us; the unlucky mail filers... But if your embassy is set up for CEAC upload or email, you can get a CC anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks..

Anyway, fortunately we're seeing some CC at 8 weeks.. so maybe they're speeding up. Here's hoping..

Do you guys know how to check when your case was sent to the the review department

Doesn't seem to be possible right now.. They only way is to call the nvc..

Below are instructions on how to find out if you have CC.

Note: these screens represent the visa IR-1/CR-1 only. Any other visa type does not apply.

Click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)...

I know.. it's so frustrating to see email applicants getting CC's so quickly, sometimes in just 1 day!! It's hard to not be jealous of that.. We're all paying the same price.. but the processing time isn't... We were stuck in Nebraska for 7 months.. Heck some still are, going on 9 months.. Was hard watching those fortunate enough to get processed through Texas fly in and out months ahead.. I wouldn't mind if by the time we got to the NVC, they processed based on our USCIS priority date.. That would make the most sense..

Hi, this is a reminder that we have a new spreadsheet. Not sure if all of you have been able to check it out yet. Most of our fellow April filers have moved over to it. Good news is that we're seeing a few CC's happening in 8 weeks!! The rest at 9 weeks with a few at 10 weeks.. but nobody at 11 weeks. :)  Let's hope they keep up this trend. @UsSwedlover said earlier that they were trying to get to 8 weeks. Looks like they're trying to achieve that goal. :)

Here is the new spread sheet.

So true...

Good thing it looks like it is starting to pick up though.  I will take 8 or 9 weeks over 11 weeks.  I will even be grateful with 10 weeks as opposed to 11 weeks!!

Yes i am also jealous.  It should be where we have the option to either mail it or email the documents.  But lets just keep praying that they speed up the process, so that we could all join our families soon.  Glad to have people that i could talk to through this process.
