We give a try to expedite our process even though we knew that you should met the criteria when expediting, like medical conditions, deployment order, humanitarian reasons., etc. and attached a supporting documents.

But us, we just sent an email to them: (even if we doesnt met the criteria for expedite Lol :D:D )

Dear Sir/Madam,

We would like to request your approval to expedite my wife’s Visa process. As an active duty military personnel, I was only able to spend two weeks with my wife when we got married. It is difficult to file for leave in the military when going abroad. Having my wife here, will finally complete our family.

Below are the details:

Petitioner's Name: XXXXXX

Date of Birth: XXXXXXX

Beneficiary's Name: XXXXXX

Date of Birth: XXXXXX

Along with the beneficiary's two local contact phone numbers: XXXXXX & XXXXXX

We thank you for your understanding and hope that we will be able to hear a favorable response from your good office. God Bless

Very truly yours,

xxxxxxxxxxxx

-And thats it. For us, there's nothing wrong in trying, if they denied our request then we just go to normal process. But we are so happy because they approved our request :):)

Hi James A.

I can't imagine being separated that long. Longest we've gone is 12 months over a 15 month period..

March cases are getting processed in 8-9 weeks!! So maybe we won't have to wait a full 11 weeks.

Have you had a chance to look at the new spreadsheet?

NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017 (save this link in your browser)

Please visit the following, this will update the spreadsheet with your info.

Yea I just went and checked it! It's a great tool! We don't have to go back through all the comment like I used to lol but I was kind of bummed out to not see any later March CC's hopefully in the next two weeks they will be coming to a end with March cases..

@JBMG yes, I looked at the spreadsheet. Great 👍 job on it. Just wondering are you counting Weekends too? The reson why it's taking me this long is because I filled out the wrong paperwork. I filled out 129-F, instead of filling out I-130 as a spouse. The I-129-F, brings them over to USA; to marry here. I did not know that. I went and married my True Love Hong, in her Country Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, Vietnam. So when I got back I filled out the I-129F. 9 months went by and they denied her because, I married her in her Country and not in USA.  So, it took me a few more months to get everything together. I had to make a trip back to Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, Vietnam; and get the Marriage Certificate. I went April 28, 2016 to May 26, 2016. I had a blast with my Wife, while I was there. Got the Marriage Certificate and came back home to USA; then started on the I-130. Got it together and sent it in. Sent it to USCIS and they finally approved it and sent it to NVC. Now it's in and hopefully get approved soon. My Wife, almost left me because it was taking to long. I had to make sure everything waa correct to the I's Doted and T"S crossed. I convinced her just to stick it out little longer. So She, waited a little Longer. If they could speed up the process faster it would be nice. It almost cost me my relationship. If known at first not to marry her in her Country with the I-129F, She, coud of been her 9 months ago. Though, now we are so close to be done. Hope to have her, here soon. I missing her so much.

Now it just a waiting period. Short I hope. Miss my Wife, so much. It will be our Wedding Anniversary on May 22, 2017, 2 years, 2 months. Hope she comes soon. I have so much to show her and do with her.

Thanks for the update on the spreadsheet.

Hi, yes, it's counting weekends too. Really sucks that they couldn't convert from a 129 to 130 for you quickly..  or heck just approved it and get remarried...  Soon enough this will all be over.. long wait will pay off to be reunited.. fortunately we have video chat and free chat apps.. Would be so much more difficult to not actually see her via video.

I remember a post here a few weeks ago where their senator's office informed them NVC was working overtime for the cases to speed up. If thats any reason for the CC time to from 11weeks to 9 weeks, I believe it'll only go down from here to 8.5 weeks and eventually 8 weeks.

I haven't dug up any data for proper comparison too see if the avg CC date a month or two ago was 10 or 11 weeks but it just gives me hope seeing one couple get CC in 8 weeks!

6 Weeks down, 2-4 more to go :(
