I was watching a YouTube video on how to assemble a good fiancé I-129F packet and this person said that the passport size photos that the petitioner and beneficiary attach with their G-325a must be signed and dated on the back of the photo.

i was getting ready to mail our fiancé 129F packet tomorrow but our photos are not signed.

My fiancé lives in Russia and if this is true this will seriously delay our plans.

Is this true , do your photos have to be signed on the back and dated ?

You have to write down the name of the person in the picture and the date on the back of the picture.

04/28/20: case got transferred to my local field office in Atlanta

05/28/20: New Card Is Being Produced

05/29/20: New Card Got Approved

06/02/20: We Mailed Your New Card

06/03/20: The Post Office Picked Up Your New Card

06/04/20: Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office

They only have to have the name of the person for the passport sized photos. They don't need to be signed or dated (albeit it won't hurt if you do have one or both as well).

G325A is not required for the latest i129f form submissions.

No signature required on the back of the photo either, just write the name. 

 From instructions: "Using a pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and A-Number (if any) on the back of the photo."
