Greetings,

I am having a hard time figuring this out. Any insight would be much appreciated. The NVC reciprocity schedule for Colombia lists the following for Military Records:

"Unavailable. Colombian citizens over 18 years of age should have their Military Carnets (Libreta Militar),

First Class for those who have served with the armed forces and Second Class for those who have obtained an exception."

Different NVC agents are telling me different things and the US Embassy in Colombia refuses to answer my question because my case is still at the NVC. There is no way I can get that document

because I am in the US and traveling to Colombia with a waiver. If it is indeed required, it would effectively mean that I won't be able to go through with the Consular Process.

Can any Colombian male who has successfully gone to the interview confirm whether or not Libreta Militar is required?

Thank you.
