Firstly this site has been incredible with tips on knowing CC such as the legendary 3 N/A (now changed to AOS disappearing)

Then it also helped me to track my papers moving with DHL from NVC to embassy (that's really incredible!)

Now any trick to know my interview date.  NVC I was on hold for a long long time only to say they don't know.  My status shows NVC has sent you an email on your interview date.

My local embassy does not answer calls another any circumstances!

so any trick to know date!!??

Unfortunately, there really is no trick. This is one of the things where all you can do is wait. You can call the NVC as much as you want, as that will be the quickest way for your to get information, but I called on a Thursday, they said they didn't know, and then I had the interview letter in my inbox Saturday morning. The embassies just send them open slots and they fill them with the petitions that have been waiting the longest. If you're at a high-traffic embassy, expect to wait longer. I waited 10 days between CC and interview, at a fairly busy embassy.

Aah well I waited 2 months almost after CC and then filed an expedite for intw and just got that approved.  Just waiting for date now - hubby will book flights to come over help me wrap up and come to intw so I am all the more impatient as these are long flights and fares are ridiculous (well that's the excuse - I just can't wait to see him again!)
