Well since you dont know any of us personally,  our immigration status or the state of our marriges I would say it is.  I do however know of a few here that have been burned by immigrant spouses, so I will take the bitterness with a grain of salt, and as the other poster said nobody really gives a ##%# what someone in here thinks

I never went to a McDonald while in Paris, but I'm curious if they are call French fries there. Are French people offended?

I actually did but it was 8 years ago...for starters, it's quite ironic because even though it's an American chain, their refusal to speak English stands. So ya better know French :) And no they don't call it french fries...just fries if I recall correctly.

burgers taste like ####### at McDonalds (like it's something alien)

YES! So true. I don't understand what's up with that. I've also done in n out and five guys before wasn't too impressed. I like Culver's if you ever had the chance to try them...their butterburgers are actually pretty good and same with their frozen custard. However honestly, and my wife would agree with this the best burgers we've had were in Israel.

My wife is more impressed about Five Guys than I am. Of all the burger joints In N Out is by far my fav. Certainly in the plans to get that when visiting one of my best buds in California next summer. (payback for him driving out from there to Toronto when we lived there)

I'll actually probably take five guys over in n out lol. Between mcdonalds and burger king it's a no brainer for burger king although they both suck compared to some real food. Most of the burgers we had in Israel were actually sirloin burgers which put them way above fast food ones...but like I said in the states culvers is definitely my fav.

French Fries are not French in origin but Belgian so even that part is wrong..even though they do eat them

The French call them Frites  short for Pommes Frites ( literally fried apples) Short for pommes de terre Frites ( Literally fried apples of the ground)

That's funny, potatoes are called ground apples in Hebrew as well.

Potato can be a salad, can we talk about potato salad  or "salade de pommes de terre" ?

I have never tried hamburger salad but the Thai make great salads with ground meat.  All of this food talk is making me feel racist.

No but you repeated it , and it was totally inappropriate. I really expect more from you. I am disappointed you would launch such a hurtful personal profanity laced attack.

Never even heard of Culvers. At least you didn't say Hardees or Checkers/Rallys.
