Hi there - im busy filling out my i-485, my wife is a US citizen. Ive been coming and going to the US for over ten years without any incidents. I do have a traffic conviction from my country from 2008, the fine was $180 (seriously!) -I wasnt even arrested, it was not alcohol/drug related (im mentioning this because the i-485 says traffic offenses under $500 that were not drug/alcohol related are exempt). I actually stood with the police at the scene while they checked out how the car managed to go off the road (no lights, no eyes, no signs, nada, nothing).

According to this is says the following: https://community.simplecitizen.com/t/what-evidence-must-you-provide-with-form-i-485/49

"Convicted or Placed in an Alternative Sentencing or Rehabilitative Program (i.e. Drug Treatment, Community Service, etc.) – Include an original or court-certified copy of the sentencing record for each incident and evidence that you completed your sentence. This evidence may include:
An original or certified copy of your probation or parole record; or
Evidence that you completed your alternative program."

This seems to implicate "convicted AND placed.." - ? or does it mean either? Its confusing cos id suspect they would have a separate bullet point?

Sorry for the confusion but this stuff rally is confusing sometimes. I have reported this to immigration officers previously (so it is on record), and they took my biometrics 4 years ago - but im thinking they arent interested?
