Hi Everyone

I'm just curious has any one every received more then on RFE notice. Is it rare to see that someone receives 2 RFE notice after Sending in One with all documents that were  required

Thanks in advance for replies.

No you can get more then one.

It doesn't have to be about the same thing.

Ok yes I do understand you can get more then one but usually any info that is missing from my K-1 packet they would have requested it on the same RFE am I right?

No not necessarily it really depends on the person who does the case.

But in most cases it would be yes.

Wow that's good know but also crazy because basically(example) if I'm missing 3 documents from my packet they can send me 3 RFE requesting that info at different times depending on the person.

Hopefully they will see it the first time they go through it and send out just one but they are human and can miss one that they have to request.

Yep it can be hard but it's part of it, this is only the start for you so hang in there. You'll be just fine.

Yes it is Hard but I know patients is key all I'm waiting for is the approval or another RFE if they request more info. They already received the one I sent them. Another question and sorry to bug you I have read that after you sent in a RFE that was received They usually send a response within 2 weeks from when they received.

That is not a guarantee unfortunately but it has been seen a lot but it also have to do with how far in the process you are.

I replied to my RFE over 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything. The only receipt I have is from usps. Not sure if this is normal either? Should I have had acknowledgement of receipt at least?

Your case status online should go to RFE response received.

Hi everyone,

We received a RFE recently. We saw at the case status online that they will be sending one. The letter with the actual request took more than a week to reach us.

We sent the reply 2 days later, on April 24th. I have been checking the case status and it just changed today to acknowledge that yesterday they received what we sent.

That is to say that yes, the case status should change.

As if they may send more than one RFE, I'm sure they can. But I hope they don't!!

Good luck to everybody!
