Just curious why you say to upload the NOA? In the section for green card it just says to attach *front and back copy* of green card, nothing with NOA.

as far as evidence, when we met with the officer to get the I 551 stamp, (which we didn't get because the computer system had crashed,) he said to upload as much proof of marriage as you can to prevent a request for additional evidence, which essentially would delay getting the interview.  each section permits for 5 documents. We are choosing to send recent bills to show that we continue to share expenses. We are also sending a couple extra photos , including newer pictures of us together and with our fertility doctor since we still aren't pregnant yet.

Yikes. I didn't send any fam pictures for my N400. I hope that doesn't affect my application, I am not sure if the website has enough space to upload more than a couple pictures. I noticed it is limited in space but we sent our son's birth certificate, home mortgage, common bank account and joint insurances aside from our tax returns as proof of marriage.

I noticed that the website still allows me to upload more documents on line, even after the submission.

It is very slick on line.

Jose V, do u have any problems uploading any evidence when u apply? Mine didn’t  have “save evidence “button, it’s 100% uploaded but when I log it out and log in back I couldn’t see the evidence that I uploaded

We haven't submitted our documents yet, we're waiting for two more  pieces of evidence to come to us. We need statements from my adult daughters, that's  the reason their address is different from mine is not because of a custody issues but because they're in their twenties! My husband is the applicant so they are his step daughters. Even though they're his step daughters, we have to include their birth certificates and the statement! LOL and gets pretty ridiculous. Anyways, it's good to know that once you hit send you can upload more documents later!

as far as photos, who knows how much the average person needs. We were able to get three and four pictures on a page in a pic collage format. The biggest reason for more photos is because my husband and I have several years difference between us so we have to definitely prove we are married. we had such a horrible AOS interview, they had me bawling and shaking uncontrollably by the end of the interview because they interrogated me under the precept of marriage for immigration fraud. I don't want to leave any doubt in their mind that we are not married ( though I had plenty of documentation for that interview too).

I've joked on other comments that I'm tempted to go as far as send the microscope photos of our embryos as proof LOL

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share that our ROC was approved on 4/30/18. We had filed at the VSC with a received date of 5/02/17. We had just been discussing about setting up the Infopass appointment to get a stamp when our case status online was finally updated. Just got our approval letter today in the mail so it took almost exactly a year for our case to be reviewed and approved. Hopefully this means that they'll be getting to the rest of the May filers soon (or at least the VSC filers).

Had the same issue.  Went to USCIS office on may 1st and they told me tht  extention ltter is valid from 1yr of GC expired.  Mine expired july 2017 so the letter is valid until july 2018. He didnt  stamp the passport. He said your letter is valid until july 2018. Hope we will get the  10yr GC soon

Interesting! Did you go to Newark USCIS office? I went in last month and was able to get a stamp even if my extension letter is valid until June.  I showed them a letter from DMV asking me for a renewed certificate of residency otherwise my license would expire this month of May. I also said that we will be traveling all summer and I would be busy after March and it would be difficult to come in for a stamp later on. The officer who helped me was very easy to deal with. Sorry to hear the experience is not the same!

Thanks! We're so relieved we don't have to worry about it anymore. We'll probably wait a little while before starting our N-400.

Thankfully we didn't need an interview. We had a ton of evidence and followed all the guides here so I think that helped towards needing an interview or not.

Hey MAY and APRIL filers and anybody following this thread. The USCIS website is having a glitch where you are not being able to submit evidence when filling your N-400 online, if you are experiencing the same issue or you are planning to file your N-400 online PLEASE CALL USCIS AND REPORT THIS ISSUE. as they haven’t gotten enough complaints as a mass they are not aware of the issue the technical support department is not aware of the issue, therefore, if we all start reporting the issue they will address it faster and we will be able to submit N-400 online... PLEASE CALL AND REPORT we need it back ASAP. Thanks

I wouldnt waste any time. Call customer service or technical support. If you cannot get an answer or resolution the same day. I would send a hardcopy application. I think you are making a mistake and will be wasting your own time if you wait for a government institution to fix somethiing for you in a timely manner. They could take months to get this resolved.
