Hi , I have an issue at work regarding the extension letter. Does the 1 year extension start from the green card expiration date or from the date the extension letter was send? I filed last year in may , however that  was 3 months before my green card expiration. My work thinks the 1 year expires in May.  Thank you

Hi. To me that looks uploaded. How do you know there is another option to save evidence? The bar says 100% uploaded

I called the USCIS customer service few days ago and expressed similar concerns about the date issue. The operator told me that employers can call the USCIS customer service to clarify the meaning of the dates mentioned in the card and the letter. My employer have not asked me about the work authorization yet.

Finally got our infopass and 551 stamp (for 1 more year, hopefully we'll get GC by then...). Although the woman at the counter seemed annoyed that we didn't have a specific trip planned soon (in a "why are you bothering with this" tone). But given how hard it is to get an appointment, we didn't want to wait until we needed it (and will almost certainly be going out of the country before the 10 year card arrives, since CSC is currently on October 2016 according to website..)

Good luck to those of you doing N400 (we won't be, because Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship).

You guys opt to not attach any evidences, the IO officer will gonna ask those evidences on the day of your interview for N-400 so I would suggest not to waste your time doing it.

The evidences that is required to attach would be the copy of your green card or NOA1 and CR green card if the I-751 is still in process.

Just curious why you say to upload the NOA? In the section for green card it just says to attach *front and back copy* of green card, nothing with NOA.

as far as evidence, when we met with the officer to get the I 551 stamp, (which we didn't get because the computer system had crashed,) he said to upload as much proof of marriage as you can to prevent a request for additional evidence, which essentially would delay getting the interview.  each section permits for 5 documents. We are choosing to send recent bills to show that we continue to share expenses. We are also sending a couple extra photos , including newer pictures of us together and with our fertility doctor since we still aren't pregnant yet.
