I can't figure out who NBC is. Is that Nebraska? It's not popping up for the N400, in other words the list that normally processes and 400 doesn't include Nebraska

No, NBC is Lees Summit, Missouri

Now this is dated the 6th, however our timeline in the case tracker shows two transfers on the 6th and another two transfers on the 10th.  So will be looking to see if we get another one of these.

1.Did you file online or did you file in paper? Judging by other groups here Nebraska is expected. 2. If you file online for N400- how do you attach taxes, if for example you have a lot of pages, and you want to file online?

We filed online.

Everything is scanned and uploaded when you file online.  As for taxes, the transcripts from the IRS were one page each year so not a big upload at all.  They have categories for each type of file upload, just pick the one that fits best, select the file then load it.

At the end you can pay via bank account or credit / debit card.

Hi everyone,

I am a may 2017 filer. Had "case received at my local office" on feb 25th and 26, then the same "case received at my local office" on April 8th.

Today i got a letter in the mail saying this:

" This notice informs you that  USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security check and use you biometrics data as in the past and that there is no need for me to go to an USCIS Application Support Center for a biometrics appointment.

USCIS is continuing to process your application, petition, or request.  USCIS will contact you in writing if any additional info is necessary to resolve your case. "

Did any of you got the same letter in the mail? I am trying to understand if this is a glitch or not since i had my biometrics taken in June 2017 after i sent my package.

Also, i did not file for NOC yet, i am waiting to get done with this process first.

@jskibo   We are working on getting the documents together for the N100. In regards to taxes, I saw there were 4 options when I went to download transcripts from the IRS website. I think the single-page "Return Transcript", though simple, may not be as complete as what is needed from the impression I got reading the PDF of required documents. Correct me if I'm wrong. Here are the definitions from the side bar of the download/print page. Just giving you a heads up if there is an RFE

As for the others, the "Record of Account Transcript" is only 5 pages each (much smaller than my printed taxes considering I have deductions/donations and a small business.)   It may be a good ideat to have that one on hand, or originals when you have an interview.

Return Transcript
Tax Return Transcripts show most line items from your tax return (Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ) as it was originally filed, including any accompanying forms and schedules. This transcript does not reflect any changes you, your representative or the IRS made after you filed your return. In many cases, a Return Transcript will meet the requirements of lending institutions offering mortgages and student loans.
Record of Account Transcript
Record of Account Transcripts combine the information from tax account and tax return transcripts.
Account Transcript
Tax Account Transcripts provide any adjustments either you or we made after you filed your return. This transcript shows basic data, including marital status, type of return filed, adjusted gross income and taxable income.
Wage & Income Transcript
Wage and Income Transcripts show data from information returns, such as W-2s, 1099s and 1098s, reported to the IRS. Most recent year information may not be complete until July.

I would disagree. In fact when you select the purpose of "immigration" the IRS suggested download is set as Return Transcript.

You are just showing that you filed a joint return. There's no other purpose including financial.

Like I said, you could be right. When I selected "immigration" no  suggestion was made. I was just pointing out the definitions, the uses.

Ha!!! Guess what? I think it depends how your original taxes turn out. Like I mentioned, my taxes are extensive from 2 jobs, one a my own business, and multiple deductions, etc.
*Both* my Return Transcript and Record of Account Transcripts are 5 pages long. It's my  "account transcript" that  is one page, but that's not what they want.
SO... how many pages depends on the extent of your taxes.  Wish mine was only 1 page!

Here's what I see when I select Immigration.  Its the same thing we had used for CR1 and the ROC.

Thanks for the screen shot, will go back to look.
I did not know about this option for printing these documents at the IRS site when we did the ROC, etc.  I photocopied EVERYTHING and sent it with our packet! We're talking I killed SEVERAL trees in the process LOL.
Great to have this group!

I have a question: should I apply now for another extension of my GC since the permanent one hasn't yet arrived and I am losing hope of getting it before the expiration?

Last time I checked(today!!!) It says they received my documentation on March 4 2018 at my local office.

I hate waiting always... but I guess no one loves it

Go to the office closest to you, explain that your GC is expiring and all that stuff, and they'll give you an extension 6mths or 12, depending. I just did that too.
