I guess my reference was more to the fact that it wasn't only February and March, but now April for some of the filers.

I got two of them at the end of February, when at the beginning of March. My husband is with CSC, end of May filer.

I am a CSC May filer, for me the 2 messages February 25- March 4 still display the same dates. The dates didn’t update to April 9 or anything like that. Still displays the same. Also there was some tools outage recently —> to be more precise April 8, my guess is may be they are transferring huge workloads during those maintenance times. This time probably didn’t touch CSC May filers.

We got a Transferred Case to another office for processing message on Friday (4/6) and we are CSC filers

I assume you have filed for N-400, that’s why. Your message is probably slightly different from April 9 message.

That's correct. Transfer came one day before biometric letter for N400

might be nothing but I just got an email from DHS site one saying that there are no updates yet with my case and the last time they touched it was March 29, 2018.

and the USCIS tracker site still says the April 09, 2018 update.

it is an automatic notice for inactivity update, if that annoys you, you can turn it off, as i did

same here,   my uscis.gov account shows the update,  but dhs.gov doesnt show

thanks for sharing

Just got back from the USCIS office. Asked to check status of my case. Eventho USCIS online shows March 5th then April 9th received in local office, the officer in the building said "nope, still in VSC that's weird they updated it that way, twice" so I guess for those who got update that April 9th received in local office, that may not be the case.

it may be the case, but just not what we think it is

"transfer", "received" may have different meanings in uscis. we dont really know how uscis works, and uscis has so many programs and systems developed/implemented during all those years, and sometime those programs and systems just dont "talk" to each other well, if not failed to talk to each others at all

Received a letter today that my wife's case was transferred from CSC to NBC Lees Summit, MO.

Odd as we filed concurrent N400 and was expecting the transfer to the Cincinnati local office

Maybe NBC is the office that has the least amount of work and they can process things more quickly? I wonder what the time frame there is?

I can't figure out who NBC is. Is that Nebraska? It's not popping up for the N400, in other words the list that normally processes and 400 doesn't include Nebraska
