Paper. I had no idea I should send pictures just like we all do to become a resident. But on the uscis checklist doesn’t say to do so

Who is the person preparing your documents? You need 2 photographs f you reside outside the US currently.

Hi everyone

Does anybody who received I-751 form in May 2017 extending resident status for one year  received answer from USCIS?

My form will be expire in 90 days so I am curious what I will receive next?

Thank you in advance

Just wanted to comment on the extension letter, may be it will be helpful to someone. When my ID expired and I wanted to extend it in the local DMV, they checked my expired green card and extension letter. So the date that really mattered —> was 1 year extension from the date of original green card. In other words —-> the notice itself might be dated with let’s say May 2 , but you original date on green card let’s say is August 2, that means that you are extended till August 2 not May2. 1 year is 1 year from the green card , not the notice!

new I-797 has different wording, makes it very clear it extends one year from the expiration date of your card

As a May filer ,  I have the following in my NOA : <Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. During the one year extension you are authorized employment and travel...>  It does not specify from what point the extension is. And I’ve seen some people confused, even people who work in government facilities. It is good if they changed the wording in the new ones.
