This takes me back. I checked my mailbox frequently for weeks before I got the NOA informing me they recieved my package and that my "Conditional Residence Status was extended for 1 year". Didn't know it then but I was in for a very long wait. my thoughts to you and everyone else here who filed at VSC - Lookout for the NOA informing you of receipt and extension of status then find a way to kill about a year worth of time.

Quick question.. 

Is NOA is the extension of status letter or just a receipt ?

It's both. It informs you of receipt of your application and states the extension of your status.

Mine went to CSC, arrived Sat May 6 as well. We can follow each other.

CSC is usually several months faster than VSC. They have slowed a bit but still generally faster.

You can always keep up with processing times here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

CSC is processing June 2016 applications as of February 28, 2017 vs VSC processing February 2016 as of February 28, 2017.

The processing table should be updated some time next week.

Enclosed please find a JOINT I-751 petition for removal of conditions of permanent resident status regarding my wife, Ema. Please also find a check for $680, the fee for this form. My wife entered the US on a K-1 visa and was granted conditional permanent residence status on 6/30/2015.  We have been married and happily living together for 3 years now and request that this petition be accepted for removal of conditions on the residence of my wife, Ema.

 

Enclosed also please find the following documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

 

• Copy of USCIS Form I-551 front and back (Permanent Resident Card) for Ema.
• Original Form I-751 filled and signed by Ema and me.
• Copy of IRS Tax Transcripts for years 2014, 2015 & 2016 showing joint filling status.
• Copy of the Deed of Trust showing we own our home together.
• Copy of the Renewal & Extension Rider signed by both of us when we refinanced the house in 2016.
• Bank Statements showing our joint account (this is the only account that we have). One from May 2015 and one from March 2017.
• Copy of the sales contract for the 2012 BMW that we purchased together (the car is my wife’s daily driver).
• Copy of the auto loan for the BMW.
• Copy of the title of my car, showing joint ownership.
• Copy of our car insurance cards.
• Copy of our credit cards statements showing joint accounts.
• Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy.
• Copy of the Water Utility bill with both our names on it.
• A copy of our most recent trip itinerary.  A trip to New York City to celebrate our 3^rd year anniversary.  

 

These materials show a merging of our personal and financial lives since our marriage in April 17, 2014. Thank you for your prompt processing of this petition and for what we hope is your favorable response at your earliest opportunity.

Filed for my wife this morning. The whole package fits nicely in a USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box!
