You will get mixed response to be honest. Some speed up some were delayed, I think it depends on how your local field office process the N-400 aka citizenship.

Its January 2017 now. I had my biometrics in early June 2017. My conditional extension status expires in July 2018. What if I don't receive any update by then? Am I still going to be legal? I dont intend to travel but I would like to continue to work.

No, you're still legal, you just need to wait for them to approved your i-751

Does anyone ever get an appointment from Infopass? Every night I go on the website trying to book an appointment it always said "Currently there are no appointment, please check again tomorrow". Does it mean in order to get an appointment, one has to check the website every night hoping for a spot open up miraculously? What's the golden time frame I should go in to check?

***NEVER RECEIVED THE NOA1 - Extension letter for another year (probably got lost in the mail or USCIS  never sent it by mistake?!)

2/13/18 at 11:10AM: Infopass appointment schedule to have 1-year stamp on birth country passport

Reminder: to file for N-400 form starting from 5/15/18 and onward as 90 days before 3-year anniversary

Do you mean I can just show up at a local USCIS office and pick a number for my turn like at a DMV? I'm sorry for so many follow up questions. I'm desperate - never received my NOA1 letter like it got lost the mail while I received my Biometrics letter and already completed Biometrics last June.

Oh sorry. I no meant I waited until midnight to make an appointment with infopass. That was the only time I could find available appointments.

I wanted to take a bit of a survey to figure out who will be applying for naturalization once their window opens up. I'm considering it but haven't fully decided.
