Please check the sequence after receiving CR1 for 2 years :

1: File AR11 (If address change by petitioner)
2: File I-865 (If address change by Sponsor)
3: File I-751 (90 days before GC expire).

We just want to know apart from above three sequence, is there any other form we are missing ?

Your 1 year extension from USCIS starts from the day your GC expires? Let us know if you were able to renew your drivers license without any issues 😊

Hi, I was able to renew my license yesterday with no issues, so my license when it arrives will be valid until July 2018. The lady working in the dept of driver services was actually a naturalized US citizen so she understood the process. hopefully everyone else that needs to review will have no issues.

I went to the office in Cumming, https://dds.georgia.gov/location/cumming

That's where I'll be going on Friday to renew mine! They were so nice when I went there last year (when I moved to GA from SC) Do you live in Cumming?

No I live in Atlanta but work in Alpharetta, so that is actually the easiest office for me to go to. I was very happy with the service there, especially when I filled out the form online before going, i was in and out of there in 15 mins.

Hey guys!! Thought I would join this thread so I can keep tabs on all the other May 2017 filers. I believe I sent off my package on the 23rd and received my extension letter I-797 on the 26th. I received my I-797C on the 9th June and completed my biometrics on 27th June.

Now I guess it's just a waiting game......

Good luck everyone!!

You are correct. You don't need anything else to that point.

That is just a bs because VSC has already approved many July 2016 filers, while CSC is not even close to the Juny 15 mark... :(

Hi all,

I have a bit of a situation and I need your knowledge.

I filed my I-751 in May 2017, my receipt date is 05/25/2017. I got my Notice of Action a week or so later and went for my biometrics appointment on 06/22/2017. On 06/26/2017 I left the country to go to Ireland for 10 days (work and fun) and unfortunately lost my expired green card at the airport. I was able to re-enter the US because I had with me my I-797 and a copy of a police case report reporting my stolen/lost green card. I now have to leave the US again, this time to go to Spain, supposedly on the 08/23/2017 and I don't know how to do it.

Do I have to fill for a I-131 Travel document? Am I fine with just my I-797? The information at the USCIS website is confusing.

Thanks!

Alicia

From what I know, since you have to show proof of your resident status when you fly back into the States, I'd suggest setting up an appointment with InfoPass to get a I-551 (equivalent to your GC) stamp in your passport, so that when you get to customs once you get back you can show both the stamp and the extension letter to the immigration officer. Now, Idk how useful this one may be to you, but I'd suggest also having the biometrics letter showing that you've already had the appointment as well. Good luck

Hi, I sent my package off on May 29, for next day delivery.  It was received.  Within 2 weeks I had my NOA for the 1 year extension (GC to expire 8/28/17).  6/24 we got the bio appointment letter for 7/5, but I was traveling to had to reschedule.  Got the next one within a week again but I was still traveling (away for 3 weeks).  Had to reschedule AGAIN.  Next letter came for 8/7 - today.  Had the appointment at 8am and was out at 8.10am.  Now I guess I'll be waiting close to a year for the approval!

if for someone reason they would send an RFE, would it be right away or it's like the decision where you wait for almost 11 (or more) months?
