Hi!

 

I should have been a march filer but unfortunately we've had a rocky journey!

 

My paperwork was rejected twice without explanation twice. They just returned be whole pack to me. The first time took 35 days and the second time 21 days.

 

I eventually hired a lawyer when I had just one week until my green card expired because I was unable to get any explanation and she told me to write on the front of my pack that the paperwork had been checked by a lawyer and was correct and not to reject it and this time around it was accepted - no difference in the paperwork I sent besides the note on the front.

 

So my current timeline: please feel free to add to the spreadsheet!

 

Mailed pack 3rd attempt may 24th.

received at vsc may 25th.

Green card and drivers license expired may 28th

NOA dated may 26th

NOA rec'd June 3rd. Phew!!

 

i couldn't be more relieved! Has anyone else had this same issue or have I just been extremely unlucky?! 

 

Am am I right in thinking that I can just take my NOA to the DMV to renew my drivers license?

I guess I'm technically a May filer. Sent my package on the 30th, received on the 31st.

 

June 2: check cashed

June 3: NOA 1 received

 

Did not expect it to go this fast.

POE: LAX January 29th 2015 on K1 status

2/14/2015 - Married

2/26/2015 - AOS package sent via USPS

2/28/2015 - Package delivered according to USPS website

3/02/2015 - Package was received according to USCIS

3/05/2015 - Received NOA1 over text message and email

3/05/2015 - Checks cashed

3/09/2015 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

3/14/2015 - Received biometrics appointment letter for 3/27/2015

3/16/2015 - Biometrics done (successful walk in)

4/06/2015 - received RFE

4/10/2015 - RFE received at USCIS

Hello May ROC filers!

 

Filed my package to California Service Centre and it arrived on 30 May.   Now waiting for NOA1. 

 

Anyone else on government/military orders filing from overseas?

I'm from the UK, hubby is from Michigan and is a retired US Army LTC.   We are currently stationed overseas.

Here is our immigration journey so far....

10.26.13 - Our wedding in Scotland 

11.26.14 - Filed I-130 at US Consulate, Frankfurt (DCF)

11.18.14 - Returned to Scotland to renew our vows for our first wedding anniversary

01.08.15 - NOA2 received in snail mail, together with case number and Packet 3 instructions

02.15.15 - Submitted Packet 3

02.17.15 - Packet 4 received by email with instructions to schedule medical and interview

02.18.15 - Email authorisation received from Consulate to gain access to appointment calendar

03.03.15 - Medical

03.18.15 - Interview - Approved

03.21.15 - Visa in hand

06.10.15 - POE Chicago (final destination Detroit)

07.20.15 - Received SSN in mail

07.27.15 - Received 2 year green card in mail

05.25.17 - Mailed ROC package to California Service Centre

06.14.17 - Received NOA 1 (dated 05.30.17) in mail

09.05.18 - Received a second NOA (dated 08.11.18) in mail granting a further six months extension to green card due to 'processing delays'

11.26.18 - ROC - Approved

12.05.18 - Approval Notice I-797 received in mail

12.18.18 - 10 year green card received in mail

Looks like my NOA1/extension letter is here today! :D I just checked my USPS mail dashboard and there's a letter from Vermont USCIS. The date on the envelope says June 01, 2017.

 

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

At what point do those who have not received a biometrics letter make an infopass appointment? It's quite concerning to see not a single VSC filer on the May spreadsheet has received a biometrics letter! 

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

@sweetswinks I believe not an infopass, you have to call them after 30 days you got your NOA1. I got my NOA1 May 20, I will call them if I still dont get the biometrics letter on June 20.

I have plenty of time to worry for myself, but there's 3 people on the spreadsheet who got their NOA1 on May 8th, so on Wednesday marks 30 days since NOA1 without a biometrics letter! 

 

And I thought it was 30 days from the date of NOA1, not delivery date.

Yes I'm one of the May 8th :( and no biometric appointment yet.  Hopefully this week if not I will be calling Friday!!!!
