Please keep the political nonsense out of this thread. There is a separate subforum on this forum that you can talk about politics but this thread isn't it.

Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

On April 6, 2018, your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC17XXXXXXXXXX, was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by May 6, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I received the exact same thing a little while ago and I wonder what it means. So what happened with u? Did u get approved? Did u have to go through an interview? What does it means?

Hi everybody,

So i just called USCIS. And told them that my case was received at the local office February 28th, 2017.

I asked the officer that i need to send a document to update my case. (Just said it to check where my case is) He said: Ahhh yeah i can see that there is a request for additional evidence. But he said it's up to the local office if they want to send it or not. What do you think guys?

There is currently no statue update. (Other than received at local office...)

Thank you for your help! :)

I don’t think your file is at local office, you should expect RFE soon in the mail.

The case was moved to NBC Lees Summit MO to join with the N400 eventually.  We had a joint interview (I751 and N400) and all went well.  Interview for I751 took less than ten minutes.  Wife was approved for ROC and Naturalization same day and she had her oath in August.

Good luck to you!!

Hi. You can do it online. It is the fastest and safest way to do it. They give you your receipt right away to track your case. You can also visualize your loaded papers or documentation.

Can you do it in multiple sittings and save your work or do you have to do it in one sitting?

Do you have to mail in any documents or can everything be uploaded online?

Thanks
