Just want to let you all know that we actually received the approval letter and green card yesterday.

They came in two different envelopes. Initially, I thought the envelope that green card came in was

a spam marketing letter and didn't open it until today.

This process took 15 months and 3 weeks.

Congratulations !!

I submitted my I-751 back on May 8, 2017. My case status shows last update of May 11, 2017...does this mean it has not been touched since I sent it??? I've seen other cases get approved with the same date as mine. Should I start to worry?? 😰

Spent much of the past weekend trying to assemble evidence for RFE but still not very confident, as there's little we didn't send the first time.

I wish they would be clear about what they didn't like about our evidence. We gave them stuff from every category except affidavits (which we are working on). Not feeling very hopeful, as it seems so random (can't think of anything that would have triggered a flag or whatever, we have no unusual circumstances).

Got another update on our case today.  About 4:30 got a text that there was an update and checked it.  Showed the "Your card has been mailed to you" message.  About an hour later, another text and now the status is that the US Postal Service has picked up your card.  They included the tracking number and it's showing to be here by Friday!!!

Still not update in the case history that they sent us the notification that it was approved.

4/28/15 - Called and NVC said supervisor had reviewed and now claimed that the decree absolute was not included. After disagreeing with the less than helpful lady on the phone, and her not being able to get the review time right. (She kept changing her story between 42 days and 30 days).

4/30/15 - Sent the same copy of the decree absolute to the NVC from the UK, highlighting the "decree absolute" wording with a letter stating that this is the only document provided by the UK government.

Hi everybody,

So i just called USCIS. And told them that my case was received at the local office February 28th, 2017.

I asked the officer that i need to send a document to update my case. (Just said it to check where my case is) He said: Ahhh yeah i can see that there is a request for additional evidence. But he said it's up to the local office if they want to send it or not. What do you think guys?

There is currently no statue update. (Other than received at local office...)

Thank you for your help! :)
