Biometrics done sometime in june 2017

Case Transferred to local office on feb 25 2018

case Transferred to local office on Feb 26 2018 

I never called uscis tier officer since i filed and didn't go for the stamp either my letter expired in june 2018. did not file for N400 yet wanted to wait for the 10yr card .

August 20th  2018 checked my dhs account and boom { we are producing your card and will mail it to you.........}

August 21 checked my dhs account and{ we approved your case.......} case number start with WAC17224......  hope this info is helpful,

am waiting on the card...........

Usps has a letter from uscis coming today. Wac17242 with no update on the webpage so betting it is the 18 month extension letter. From the picture it has 2 pages. Can always dream it is finally the 10 year

Well I just checked the case numbers that begin with WAC1723 and it seems that the first numbers of those series is getting some approvals. I saw 01,3,4,5 got approved. Hopefully they get more approvals soon. They seem to just be working down the list I guess. Hopefully my wife gets approval soon so we get apply for her n400.

did your status remain the same as case received...but date changed from april 9 to a later date? mime did and i am wondering if that means they put it on backstack for now to process later

it still says April 09, 2018 on the uscis gov site

 

the dhs changed to July 13..

The way I see it as soon as you apply for the N400 the 751 has little bearing.. they will process the N400 keeping the info sent for the 751.. then make a combined decision with the interview and civics test, waiting for the 751 and then applying for the N400 would have been a long wait.. that’s why I made the decision to apply for it, but considering they are finally giving decisions for the 751.. I could have waited a couple of months. It’s done now, and it’s ok.

We are looking at it this way as well.  In the long run, it's citizenship he's after, not a 10-year green card, so we applied when he was eligible.

I just received another notification saying they sent my green card, without any tracking number....

I really hope they sent it to the right location...

tracking number will be provided to you once the USPS picked up your card. You will get another update that will tell you that your card was picked up by USPS and with tracking number in it. Like this update:

On June 20, 2018, the Post Office delivered your new card for Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXX to the address that you gave us. The tracking number assigned is 9XXXXXXXXXXXXX.
