Congratulations!!  Did you open the letter?  It may still be the 18-mo extension letter.  A LOT of people are getting them after they get their green cards in hand.  I'm excited for you!!

Woot!!

Yes, a combined interview.  I wonder if it sped up your N-400 process?  When did you apply for citizenship?

We just got ours in the mail on Friday, and we filed May 2nd.  As usual, not much seems to go in order.  😕

The letter was indeed the 18 months extension letter...

No idea when my GC is going to be send. The message just says "new card being produced" but it does not say anything about being approved....

I applied for N400 this month.. so I don’t think it’s In a place to get sped up. But they mailed the transfer letter the same day I applied for the N400, so I don’t think they are linked in anyway.. I was just wondering if anyone received a similar letter of transfer with interview mentioned in it.. I guess I’ll have to wait to find out :)

Has anyone here not received their 18-month extension letter yet?? I've been checking the June '17 filers thread and a lot of the applicants over there have already gotten theirs. I still haven't gotten mine in the mail yet =/ I called up USCIS earlier today to make sure they have my correct mailing address- they do. I was advised to just go get an extension in my passport (which is something I should've done a long time ago, I know!).

I got mine yesterday, but I had already gone to get my passport stamp like a month back.. so don’t worry, yours should be on it’s way..

That is what it seems like.. they will do a combined interview..

Will the combined interview be based on the I-751 date or the N-400 date? I filed my I-751 on 5/13/2017 and my N400 on 5/12/2018. Based on comments on this forum it appears that May 2017 751 applicants are hearing back from USCIS. I hope that filing the N400 isn’t delaying adjudication of my 751. Thoughts?

p.s. I haven’t received the 18 month letter or the case transfer letter. USCIS website says my case was transferred to my local office (CHI) on 2/26/2018. I already obtained a 6 month 551 stamp on my passport from my local office here.

The way I see it as soon as you apply for the N400 the 751 has little bearing.. they will process the N400 keeping the info sent for the 751.. then make a combined decision with the interview and civics test, waiting for the 751 and then applying for the N400 would have been a long wait.. that’s why I made the decision to apply for it, but considering they are finally giving decisions for the 751.. I could have waited a couple of months. It’s done now, and it’s ok.

Did your status actually say transferred to Chicago (CHI) office or just "local office"? The latter was a system glitch from what I've read. Mine says the same thing, "at your local office" and USCIS did confirm in an email response to my SR that my case was transferred to CSC. Oh OK. I sent it to CSC and now it's back at CSC. Got it. LOL

Dear Friends,

I have a news I would like to share with you all. I am a CSC filer and filed my application on 05/08/2017. I received I-797 notice in mail today (08/17/2018) that reads...

Notice Date : 08/10/2018

"Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status have been approved. You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status. You should receive a new Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551 (green card), within 60 days."

I checked my status on USCIS Case tracker app and also USCIS case status webpage. They still show that my case has been transferred to local office since March. So I guess many of you should expect this letter very soon and not rely completely on the USCIS app or webpage. Wish you guys all the best.

This forum has been a life savior. I will continue to be a part of this forum and answer any question/ share my experience with others.

Congratulations.....

Hi everyone,

I just received a notification saying that my new card is being produced. I am still having a hard time to believe it...

Like I said earlier, a letter is waiting for me in my mailbox, but people said it looks like an extension letter, so I'm not sure.

I'm a May 2017 CSC filer, case got transferred to TSC on July 20. I'm going to apply to citizenship after I receive the physical card.

Approvals for CSC filers are definitely coming guys!

Good luck to everyone, and thanks for the priceless support.

Congratulations....
